~ 16 oz Pilsener glass draft pour at the Beer Authority in Lake City (Seattle), Washington. Tap Handle called this Köstritzer Lager. Pour is a clear golden yellow with a pretty one inch clean white head. Aroma is cereal grains, soft hop bite and mineral earthiness. Nice clean nose. Taste is the nose, gentle cereal grains along with the hop bite and mineral earthiness in the finish. Palate has nice carbonation and a thin to medium bodied. Really easy drinking, nice beer to accompany shopping.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden coloured efferverscent hue with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet and slightly grainy nose with lighter herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Soft and slightly grainy malty base herbal notes; slim and slightly bitter and chalky herbal hoppy finish. Straight and just a bit boring Pilsener. 03.I.10

Bottle 50cl.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy, green grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091002]

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale yellow with a huge and chalk white head. Light cornish ad biterhops aroma. Flavour is mild fruity and of bitterhops. Ends with a mild citric to acidic dry bitterness.

Bottle at Berliner Bierfestival. Clear, slightly pale, golden, with a small, white head leaving nice lacings. Quite weak nose with grains and grass. Unfortunately the flavor feels quite weak as well, but at least there’s a little hoppy bitterness in addition to the grain and grass. Some bitterness finishes it. Medium to thin body. A decent, boring, quaffable and refreshing beer. (070804)

Getreidiger Geruch, der sich auch im Bier widerspiegelt. Herbes Pils mit deutlich bitteren Note, die im Mittelteil und Nachgeschmack deutlich hervortritt. Im Mittelteil leicht malzig, dazu hopfig. Das hopfige Aroma ist auch im Nachgeschmack noch präsent. Nettes, wenn auch nicht überdurchschnittliches Bier. Test vom 24.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,8,8,9,7,8 - 8,00

Bottle (thanx to Eithcubes !): Mainly cardboardy nose with traces of malt and hops; pale golden coloured, mid-sized head, slowly diminishing; delicate bitter flavour, very light bodied; cardboardy, soapy, slightly sourish finish. Only good for watering the flowers..........
