On cask in Ambleside at a restaurant cafe type of place called Stiles. Appearance - golden orange with a nice head. Nose - orange and barley. Taste - more orange barley water. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it’s a style that most of the top UK brewers have managed to capture in at least one of their beers. Nothing new but no need to change it.

On tap at Craft. Very light haze on this gold beer. Light palate, smooth mild carbonation. Whisper of sulphur. Mild minerals. Very mild citrus. Bordering on insipid - just about saved by whispers of orange and honey.

Cask-conditioned at the Black & Gold beer festival, the Gryphon, Bristol 2/9/2012. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Light citrus fruit and grassy hop aroma. Flavour had some summer fruits, cereal malts and decent, bitter finish. Ok.

Heavy bodied with a pale ale texture, and seriously hoppy which is pleasant for the nose.
