This amber coloured ale has a strong hoppy aroma with a hint of fruit and slightly metallic sulphur. The taste is almost very hoppy; the Golding hops bring a spicy and resinous flavour to this thirst quenching summer ale . The flavour gets even spicier in the aftertaste and you’re most definitely left wanting another pint.

Cask at the John Logie Baird (JDW), Hastings. An interesting ale, almost Belgian in style; amber with a tight cream head; the aroma os grainy with a touch of yeast; it’s smooth and prickly in the mouth, at the same time dry and floury but also with chewy grains and a touch of toffee. Very drinkable.

Bottle 50cl.Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, oxidide malt, cardbord notes, resin - fruit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090802]

Bottle. Not a massive fan of this. Pours a nice golden colour with a white head some fruity malt and hops but also something like rubber as well on the aroma? Mouth feel is rich and a goodish hoppy dry finish. Not sure on this.
