Aroma of caramel malt with fruity/floral hop. Reddish amber color with a shy white head. Medium body with mild carbonation. Caramel malt flavor with both fresh and dark fruit . Something like having peach/apricot with raisin/plum The finish is fairly dry, and the hop bitter builds a bit to balance. Refined and elegant, as expected from Daleside. Very tasty.

Bottle. Golden brown beer with a very strong head. The aroma is quite mildly dry, and the flavour is very bitter and quite toffeeโ€™ish. Overall a reasonable beer.

Pours tea colored into an English pint. Medium conglomerate head leaves slight lacing as it recedes to skim surface. White raisin aromas. Flat caramel upfront with a metallic, lasting bitter hop finish.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a rich butterscotch color with a large caramel head. The aroma was sweet, fruity, yeasty and had a spritzy hop element. The mouthfeel was moderately thick and creamy. The flavor was tangy yet fairly dry with a floral and lightly fruity hop element and a yeasty, slightly nutty malt undertone. The finish is long, bready and sour.

Golden color. Stale paper aroma, a bit puckery. Some caramel flavor; but itโ€™s really just too simple beer.

Light amber color. Aroma of malt and cardboard. Good body structure, based on the pale malt with some caramel, some residual sweetness, balanced bitterness, hop of fairly good quality. Quite good.

Bottle, picked up by Lozโ€™s parents along with some other Daleside beers. Pours a deep amber colour and has a very fruity aroma with hops also present. Strength shows a little, and this tastes really rather nice, with toffee and caramelly flavour mixing with some fruitiness and malts providing a pretty good balance overall.
