Flaske 0,5l delt med Rune. Pen gylden farge. Lavt skum. Kraftig fruktig aroma. Veldig tiltalende. Smak av kjeks og malt. Forfriskende. Svak bitter ettersmak med aprikos i avslutningen. Passet helt fint til rømmegrøt & spekemat på St.Hansaften - men hadde nok vært enda bedre som koseøl. KI=5

500ml bottle shared with Finn and as a satisfying drink to rømmegrøt (porridge made with sour cream) and cured meats. Off-white head with lots of dimples and fragile glass-lacing. Cloudy, golden-copper body. Floral hops to the nose. Taste of earthy malts in interplay with resinous hops. Dry hopped ending. Medium bodied (Midsummer Eve, Tromsø 23.06.2009).

Big offwhite head. Coppery body. Floral peas and caramel aroma with roasty malt notes. Very harmonic and balanced. Sweetish-dry floral pea taste with resiny grassy notes. Surprisingly hop-dominated compared to the aroma. Mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry floral grassy herbal aftertaste, kind of salty. Excellent session beer. (0.5l bottle from Centra.)

500 ml bottle, bought at Peckham’s, Glasgow. ABV is 3.8%. Amber colour, large off-white head, leaves a nice lacing. Malty aroma with notes of caramel, some fruit too. The flavour has a decent balance between malts and hops, notes of toffee and moderate fruit, hoppy finish. Quite good.

Bottle. Fruity, light aroma. Perhaps a bit of malt in there. Clear amber color with a firm beige head. Starts fruity, brings up light malt, quickly followed by balancing hop. Almost medium mouthfeel. The finish is nicely dry and bitter. Very nice indeed.

Bottle picked up from SH Jones, Bicester, 23-09-06 Has a lovely label. Pours almost orange like in colour, fruit hops and detected some yeastiness in the aroma. Quite an easy drinking beer, with malt and caramel swishing around in balanced proportions, taste a slight sourness and comes across as being a little on the weak side but I can’t be too critical as this isn’t too bad a beer.

Bottled (BB 11/2005)
Reddish-copper color, small tanned head, nice "creamy" lacing. Aroma has red currant, barley and hints of smoke. Quite ok for this low ABV: medium-bodied, woody flavor with fruity bitter hops - they linger in the aftertaste nicely.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful fully golden - almost bronze. Not much head though. Very aromatic from the hops with a pronounced bitterness. Another fine example of a low alcohol beer with lots of flavour. 161004
