On tap at Miezis & Kompānija. Pours almost black with a tan head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, pumpkin notes, faint berry.

Tap @ Miezis & Kompānija, Riga. Black body under a small beige head. Aroma of dark malt, acidic berries, spicy and a faint hint of vegetables. Taste is moderate sweet, mild roasted dark malt, red acidic berries, spices, some alcohol, moderate bitterness and a faint hint of vegetables. Balanced body and same aftertaste. Interesting with sour rowan berries in a stout, works better than expected, still a bit unbalanced.

Sweet, metallic, rowanberry, smooth pumpkin, milky, roast, spicy, alcohol

First beer of the year, starting on high notes. Not feeling too well honestly, but needs this before going to sleep. Smell-weak, bit to medium, malt, faint vegetable, pumpkin-ish notes. Foam- malty, acidic tones, weak sourness, more bitter tones, faint pumpkin-ish notes. (Note I don't like pumpkins) Head is medium-sized. Appearance- simple generic black bottle cap, the label is simple, but the point for effort, I guess meant to be Rowan Atkinson in an artsy way. Very dark brown, but basically black, medium carbonation. From- stout glass Taste- malty, acidic, faint sourness, faint sweetness, faint bitterness. Feels like everything together ends in some weirdness. I do get pumpkin I guess, or something similar. Alcohol hidden quite good though. Not a fan of this.
