Cask på Castle, Holborn 4 Okt 10. Lys gylden. Veldig lavt skum. OK fruktig aroma. Smaken innholder litt plommer. Brukbar fylde. Frisk syrlig men med en tung, fruktig undertone. God.

(Cask at Castle, Chancery Lane, London, 3 Aug 2010) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, canned peaches and dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, light sweetish malt and dusty hops. Light body, balanced sweetness. Nothing remarkable, but a decent bitter.

Half pint, 3.9% abv, cask, very much enjoyed in an almost perfect British pub atmosphere at the Castle in Holborn. Copper body with a slight haze. Moderate aroma of hops, and plain hoppy in flavour added by subtle hints of sweet malts. Decent bitter aftertaste. Very typical for an English bitter (London, 03.08.2009).

Copper color, thin creamy head, nice lace. That aroma of sugars, that dry caramel flavor with a touch of vegetables… nothing special. Strong bitterness.

Cask@The Castle, London (I had written down Redcar Best Btiter 3.9%...). Amber colour, mediumsized off-shite foamy head. Aroma is wood, sourness and mild grassyness. Flavour is quite much the same with a nice grassy bitter finish.
