This is our favorite beer we make...and that is saying something! It also happens to be our homage to the band TOOL, so that is also awesome! Pours, looks + smells as though it should be a stout or porter, but your palate tells a different story; a deceptively light body, with assertive hop-forward flavors + assertive bitterness pairs beautifully with roasted malt.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly darkish tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Roasty dark malts, some charry bitterness. Tangy dark malts, bitter coffee. Hops bring mild pine and a little hop fruits. Light bitter finish. Rough edged.

Nose is light roast, charr, cocoa powder, dried red berries.
Taste comprises earthy roast, pine needle, burnt toffee, cola cubes, dried red berries.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Solid CDA.

Sweet, roasty and slightly fruity with some citrus, coffee, chocolate and ashy notes. A bit too sweet and oily, lacking bitterness.
