On tap somewhere! Clear dark brown beer. Tangy and fruity. Palate is slightly dry. Well flavoured in it’s tangy fruitiness. Not bitter or overdry.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Reddish amber with a deep, dense cream head; sweet aroma of stewed plums and apple; really jammy fruit flavour, well-balanced with an intense bitterness, leaving a slightly peppery finish. Rather similar to last month’s Market Collapse - but nonetheless the best Reb I’ve tried for a while.
