Bottle at home picked up from Land bier paradise. A crystal clear amber copper coloured pour with a lasting tidy magnolia head. Aroma is lovely layered malts, nutty, brown bread, rye, nice dried fruit, raisin, grape. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, savoury brown bread, nutty, pinch of salt, dried fruit, little cake. Palate is semi sweet, lovely smooth bodied, Good.

"Ritter 1645", Flasche aus dem Landbierparadies, Nürnberg. - Kupferbraun, klar. - In der Nase tiefes gebranntes Malz, Karamel, leicht weinige Züge; milde hintergründige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk stark karamelmalzig (Blockmalz) mit kerniger Karamelsüße und zarten weinig-fruchtigen Zügen (Weinstein). Dezente, leicht kräuterige Hopfung mit etwas Orange. Milder rezent, vollmundig; leichte mineralische Härte. Im Abgang angenehme Malzbittere aber nur knappe Hopfenherbe. - Kernig malziges Märzen, etwas unterhopft aber originell, kantig und auf seine Art süffig. Schön.

Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. piwo ma gigantyczna piane i bardzo trwala. piwo ma kolor jasno bursztynowy. nadmiar karmelowej slodowosci i nieco tosotwej nuty mnie denerwowalo, nie zbyt to smaczne bylo. Ale piana ratuje to piwo przed przepascia., fajna tez jest etykieta.

500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Sultanas, bread and caramel in the aroma. Nutty and slightly sweet taste with bready malt, caramel, sultanas and apricot.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Floral aroma - sugary sap to be precise - with an underlying maltyness. Dark Amber. Off-white head; initially very impressive but soon shrinks away. Ever so slightly bitter, with a sweet and sour finish. There’s a maltyness in there and some fruit. I rarely eat fruit so am struggling to place it. Something that’s been tinned in syrup no doubt. However it’s not overdone, more sweetness would have been offputting for me. Light bodied. There’s a lot of carbonation - it’s really at the forefront. A slick mouthfeel in to the relatively abrupt finish. Would down a few of these and then hope no-one notices my burping and farting.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber with a short-lived white head. Aromas of overcooked orange, flinty malt, barley sugar boiled sweets Taste is light sweet, more flinty flavours. Sweet, thin finish.

Bottled (from landbierparadies). Copper colour, small off white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some nice wooden notes as well as some mild herbal notes. Flavour is rather similar in a good balance. Very tasty and fresh.
