473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate fizzy head. Aromas of dry caramel, dull bitter hops, minerals and toasted malts. Flavors of sweet caramel, fruit, and toasted malts. OK.

Brown, tan head. Nose/palate of malt & brown sugar. Despite the abv, the lighter body says more a Scottish than a Scotch ale

473mL can, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of bready caramel and a touch of toffee. Flavour is dry, with bready malt, light caramel, and some brown sugar. Nice malt character but not particularly complex. It’s alright.

Medium brown, thin head. Okay, but this is more of a dunkel, because it's lightish in the body, and there's not a ton of malt complexity.

Poured from 473mL can. Auburn brown with light beige head. Caramel malt, feint phenolic note in the background, below average.
