Bottle 33 cl. Rich amber color, yellow foam. Aroma: sweet, nutty, esters, caramel, candied pears and apples. Taste: strong, malty, candies and caramels, nuts, winey, bitter finish.

opalescent amber colour, medium sized creamy yellowish-beige-ish ecru head; aroma of dried apricot, biscuits, malty and some canned apple notes; taste has the same notes with definite syrupy sweetness which is however quite well balanced by hoppy bittery and spicy peppery notes; good one!

Large foamy beige head left a spotty cover on a reddish brown still body. Malt spice & tea aromas. Medium bodied, smooth & tingly down the throat. Spiced fruits, malt, tea & jam tastes with a boozy finish. Very tasty.

Cette bière n'a rien d'une divine. Elle est d'ailleurs plutôt grossière, sans grâce et devient vite ennuyeuse. Côté équilibre, c'est perfectible avec un alcool à 9,5% quelque peu disgracieux et un sucre légèrement trop présent. En verre nous sommes sur un ambré (EBC de 35) limpide, une effervescence modérée avec une très fine couche de mousse. Le nez est peu emballant sur la prune, le caramel et un alcool bien présent. L'alcool reprend cet alcool franc, mais disgracieux et pas entièrement intégré. Caramel, zest d'orange et légères sont présents. La deuxième bouche présente une bonne corpulence avec de le girofle et du piment qui arrivent. L’arrière-bouche, plus pimentée n'est pas exceptionnelle et le final long n'apporte rien quant à lui. Un peu d'élégance ne ferait pas de mal.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee, light spice and wood. Taste is light sweet, light spice, caramel. Boozy finish.
