Bottled Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, fruits fudge and a mild notes malts as well. Flavour is sugary, toffeeish and quite boring, Way too sweet to be anything.

RBESG Sheffield 2009 Grand Tasting at the Harlequin. Dark amber colour, off white head. Aroma is sweet, candy and toffee. Flavour is very sweet, candy, bit of alcohol, bit stinging in the throat. Chemical crap.

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a red tinged copper colour with a moon crater like dissipating tan head. Lively carbonation. Aroma of boot polish, caramel malt, booze. Sweetish flavour. Malty, with some vague dark fruit. Drinks all of the 8%. Not exactly porter, but not too shabby nonetheless.

Bottle that I picked up from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford consumed 0704-09 Pours reddy brown colour with quite stunning clarity and a light tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty and big on alcohol. The warmth from the alcohol is very apparent, its sweet and really toffeeish and sticky. I know that this says Krynitsa Porter - imported by Bear Beer Ltd on the back of the label but this doesn’t really taste like a Porter. I agree with Lea it’s more barley wine. A6 A5 F6 P3 OV12 3.2
