India Pale Ale brewed with grapefruit and habaneros:
Anyone who has braved a Cleveland Winter and the lake effect that comes with it knows the drill. Then there are those perfect days where the sun just peaks out enough to turn what was once snow into a full blown sheet of ice. We brewed Ice Melter India Pale Ale with grapefruit and habaneros just for days like that.

Shig share, gracias.
Baby tulip at home. Strong head, active, murky brown.
Veggie, oily, sharp chili but mellow fruitiness, crusty bread, chocolate oxidation.
Semi-sweet, old hops, murky chili oil with a twinge of lingering heat, grapefruit pith, lots of brown bread.
Frothy, oily coat, slightly boozy, slightly bright.
Good idea. Maybe it was old.

Can thanks to Matt an tOSU fan that disappeared after their loss to Miami in 2025 CFP: Poured a copper orange with a beige head. Aroma is grapefruit, light spice. Taste is nice balance between hops, caramel, fruit, grapefruit, spicy habanero.

Big pounder can for $3 at chalet premier. Darker pale orange eye, with a creamy bubbly foamy head that goes craggy. Stronger bitter grapefruit nose, like green grapefruit rinds. Barely any carbonation on the palate, its mouthcoating with warming sensations, whew. The taste is certainly IPA bitter back up with a backbone of chewing on ratting, partially fermenting grapefruit pulp, blah. Almost astringent, fer sure they used the most bitter grapefruit variety they could find and then mixed it with pine tar, turpentine and very bitter IPA hops; rubbish. In the middle, still getting this pepper sensation of warming, not sure where tats coming from; oh,OK - now I see there are some habaneros in there. Must say, the heat is a good thing about this, it keeps me interested. Yes, it is warming, but not really like habbies are. In the end, the IPA and grapefruit bitterness is so up front and in yer face, I just can't enjoy this straight up ass BS of an IPA, even wit the heat distractor.

Aromas are grapefruit, onion and malt. Flavors are similar to nose, just slightly on the sweet side with perfect habanero. Kind of surprised by this at how well it works. Low key carbonation and round body. Not sure if it would be better with crisper carbonation. But I like it.

Hazy orange honey with a large foamy head that left excellent lacing. Intense hot pepper with sweet fruity hops. Incredibly long hot pepper finish. Moderately full bodied.
