bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Malty base, quite hoppy for a Hell, especially in the lingering finish. Bitter-sweet. A well-crafted example of the style.

Bottled (from mein-biershop.de). Yellowish golden colour with big foamy white head that lasts for quite a while. Leaves some slight lace. Aroma is bready malts, some grassy notes as well as mild herbs. Flavour is sweet malts, some grass, herbs and also quite hay. Ends in a rather grassy bitter way.

Bottle, 4.5%. Clear yellow colour. Small white head. Grainy aroma, hint of wax and soap. The flavour has some malt, a hint of grain. A little aromatic hops, but also a bit soapy. OK, though.

Bright gold, thick head. Big liquid bread aroma is very appetizing with herbal hop. Flavour is slightly husky malt, fading to a herbal-sweet finish. Tastes better as it warms, too.

Bottle, tahnks pivnizub. Pale golden, low lacing white head. Straw malt and dry hops. Sweet on the tongue, with a sensible blalance. Ok chewy, fine sparkly on the tongue. Quite ok standard Helles.

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Greenish-golden, small but persistent head, distinctive sweet-grainy to pale malty nose; solid sweetish-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied; sweet grainy-malty finish, supported by a light but distinctive bitterness. A very well crafted Helles........

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet grainy and light-fruity malt aroma with light herbal hoppy blend. Rounded grainy malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness; light bodied with a soft, almost creamy mouthfeel; dry, sweet-bitter finish with moderate hoppy touch and a pleasant grainy aftertaste. Balanced and moreish Helles.
