Bottle from my dear friends (Jens, Anna and Sigrid). Pours nearly clear dark copper brown with stable light beige head. Clear aroma of malt , yeast, and caramel, with roasty notes and touches of hops. Bitter, roasty flavour, with nutty touches and sweetish notes of caramel malt and yeast. Estery and roasty aftertaste with some acidic touches. Drinkable and not unenjoyable, but rather metallic for my taste.

50 cl bottle. Rated on 1.12.2009
Dark brown-orange colour, beige, thick and disappearing head. Aroma has sweetish malt, some berries and vegetables typical to danish ales, hints of licorice and metal. Flavour is sweetish with vegetables and berries. Slightly too much CO2 on palate. Adding the yeast makes this more dark, stale and round. Not good.

Bottle, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A hazy, reddish brown beer with a fine-looking dense, beige head. Spices, herbs, candi sugar and caramel on the nose. The flavor is sweet, spiced and with a bitterness I’m not very excited about. Medium to full body, almost sticky sweet, and well carbonated. There’s a herbal bitterness in the finish. A quite nice one, needing the sweetness it has. 091023
