Tap. Pours hazy golden, small off-white head, dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is grassy, floral, herbal. Flavor is grassy, herbal, a bit grainy, some citrus zest. Light plus sweet and light plus bitter. Medium light body. Not my thing.

This was poured into a becher glass.
The appearance was a mostly transparent burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that maintains a nice retention for about a good minute before gently dissipating.
The aroma had some dried Curacao orange peel gently sliding into sweet to bitter juniper needles. A light floral quality graces the background nicely.
The flavor leans closer to the bitter and dry side of this American styled IPA, however gentle sweet juniper needles surround my taste buds full throttle.
The mouthfeel caved in to the dryness coming from the juniper needles. While the more I sip this, the more the dryness comes out to lay down on my tongue. The bitterness from the orange peel grabs my tongue just enough as an AIPA to ensure an all around great feel.
Overall, Stone Corral takes an AIPA and wishes to grab the drinker’s attention to a different aspect that some brewers aren’t doing just yet. There’s nothing like an AIPA like this one to help break up the monotony of stouts and porters during the holiday season.
