Medium beige head. Deep clear reddish brown body with light carbonation. Deep roasty earthy toffee aroma with dusty herbal spice and lacquer notes. Chocolate, too. A touch perfumy, perhaps, but nice. Dry-sweet roasty dusty cocoa taste with wooden lacquer notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dry resiny cocoa aftertaste with spicy caramelly notes. Nice. Aftertaste lingers for a long time. Draft version was a bit acidic, but I suspect the bar doesn’t clean the line often enough and don’t sell enough. (0.33l draft and also 0.5l bottle from the brewery. Batch #132.)

Sample on the brewery and later a 50 cl. bottle, batch nr. 132. Clear, amber colour with a small off-white head. Sweet and nutty aroma, also some nuts. Medium body with soft carbonation. Shortlived finish. Not an outstanding beer, and considering the high price, a little bit disappointing.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer under a huge light tan head, seemingly a bit over carbonated. The aroma has notes of nuts, malt, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with an acidic edge and notes of nuts, dusty hops ,and lemon, leading to a lightly tart finish - seemingly a bit off. The body is light.

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A clear, copper-colored beer with a small, off-white head. Lightly roasted notes with both fresh fruits and some dried ones. Caramel-sweet flavor, slightly buttery, and a little bitterness towards the end. Medium boring. Not much to say about this one, it’s not bad, but boring as hell. Well, maybe that’s a kind of bad too.
