Keg at Habitat, Trondheim. A decent porter that wasn't too rough while maintaining gravitas. Nice colour.

Can. Dark brown to black, dense finger-thick beige head. Curtains. Burnt, roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, oats and some piney hops. Full body, quite dry, gently carbonated. Roasted malts, burnt notes, chocolate, oat biscuits and piney, bitter hops in the flavor. Lasting finish. Quite pleasant this Porter. 250418

440 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6.2%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate to small beige head. Aroma of roast malts and cold coffee. Light bodied for its strength. Dry flavour with distinct notes of roast malts and strong coffee, resinous bittering hops in the finish.

440ml can, B#541, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours an one-finger thick beige head over a deep, dark brownish body, crocheted lacing on the glassware. Attractive, fine roasted aromas of cocoa-chocolate with scents of dark fruits. Tasty dark malt-forward flavours, moments of dark bread, grainy chocolate, bite of ash, and a backdrop of black coffee. Distant notes of dark fruits, as well. Malty depths to the ending, carefully roasted. Saturday afternoon enjoyment. (Tromsø, 01.03.2025).

From can at Hjørnet, Kristiansund, with Mads, Jomar and Eskil 28.02.25. Ebony. Some brown head. Fine aroma and taste of roasted barley, pine, ash, espresso and hints of grapefruit. Lingering aftertaste. Dry and light mouthfeel. Perhaps slightly waterish.
