Can, from trade with oh6gdx. It pours a clear, deep golden body and a small, off-white head. Sweetish on the nose, almost vomit-like, with caramel and some fruityness. Fruity, slightly sourish flavor with a touch of caramel. A short and vague grapefruit-like bitterness rounds it off. Medium body with a little sourish touch. Completely uninteresting, but at least drinkable. Some refreshing qualities too. (090221)

Bottled. Amber colour, small head. Fruity aroma with some metal. Light bodied with clean mouthfeel and vague hint of grassy hops. Sharp bitternss in the finish. A bit thin, especially for an oktoberfest.

(Bottle 33 cl) I know Nokia cell phones, I’ve seen Nokia rubber boots, but until recently I had no knowledge of Nokia beer - sorry for my ignorance. Dark amber, very clear, almost no head. Extremely aromatic nose and the most fantastic aromatic hops in the flavour. Some caramel in there too. Pronounced hoppy finish. The label calls this "Münchener Olut" ("Münchener Beer") - rather a Vienna rather than Oktoberfest, I believe. 140605

2005 bottle from Juha, thanks! Dull orange-copper colored body, quite clear, with a small yellow head, some retention, but ultimately dissipating to nothing, with no lacing. Aroma has hints of veggies, but they pass and some light honey and graham cracker malt can be glimpsed. A bit of dirty/musty earthy basement smell. Flavor begins with hard water, more mustiness, very grainy, hard vienna malt and dry toasted grains. Little, if any, malt sweetness, very basic and bland flavor. Very watery, highly attenuated, touch of bitterness with low carbonation. Visions of soggy bread, though it is, in the end, easily drinkable and quite immemorable.
