Birra robusta ottenuta da malti di colore scuro, a media gradazione alcolica. Forte, corposa, aromatica, ha il giusto equilibrio fra il dolce e l’amaro. Nasce da uno stile birrario che sta riaffermandosi in questi anni. Non è per tutti, ma piace a molti. Classicissima Porter, in pieno stile britannico ottocentesco, dal colore scuro impenetrabile con schiuma marrone compatta e persistente. Il naso è complesso e offre note di caffè, cioccolato, liquirizia e sentori di torrefazione. La bocca è morbida, dal corpo pieno, con un finale lungo, piacevole e fresco. Prodotta con una base di Maris Otter e malto Brown. Luppolatura totalmente Inglese con East Kent Golding e Fuggle. Servire a 8 ºC. Ingredienti: acqua, malto d’orzo, luppolo, lievito.

Il naso riconosce indizi di caffè. La finezza olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone castagno ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è nero come la pece. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buona armonia con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca porta note di miele, crosta di panettone, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca e agrumi.

Mein letztes Bier aus Sardinien, das mich wirklich positiv überrascht hat. So hat ganz porter-typisch wunderbare Schokolade- und Kakao-Aromen und dabei einen schönen runden Körper.
Es ist ein sanftes, samtiges Bier, das Lust auf mehr macht.

A: cold coffee, brown bread, chestnut, old fondant.
T: restrainedly sweetish raisin, bitter coffee & fondant.
F: earthy hops, bitter coffee & tobacco.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Quite subtle but drinkable.
