13/XII/14 - 75cl bottle @ Dijleschuimers Bierproeffestival (Kessel-Lo) - BB: n/a (2014-1504) Thanks to the Antwerp Zythos crew and others for sharing beers at the table!
Clear pale yellow beer, big creamy fine white head, very stable, little adhesive. Aroma: smells like a Duvel-clone! Grassy and herbal hops, bit malty, sweet touch, champagne yeast, some almonds. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sugary, marzipan, almonds, lots of green banana. Aftertaste: little herbal, bitter, yeasty, bit sugary, almonds.

Strong blonde on 75 cl bottles from a brewery with very limited output; the label is a hangtag around the neck. Clear golden blonde colour, loose, snow white head; very estery aroma with lots of apple and sweet cider, some sweet sherry, honey, pear syrup, butter; sweet apple-like taste but not sugary, cider-like, rather thin body with low hop bitterness in the finish. I can kind of appreciate this but it seems a bit amateurish and it’s not worth searching for something this difficult to find - in this case, at least.

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, coriander, and fruit, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottled. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is banana and very Hefeweizenish. Flavour is also very hefeweizenish, a lot of banana, yeast, spices and some mild notes of alcohol. Quite pleasantly balanced and refreshing, but not that exciting.

[Bottled] Hazy pale golden, no head. Citric and lightly yeasty. Medium dry with light mouthfeel. Plenty of lemon peels and perfume. It’s dryness makes it very drinkable. A classy beer!
