Backlog January 2010. Reddish amber body under a nice, dense beige head. Aroma has mild, smooth coffee with cream. Taste is sweet malt, coffee, anise and coffee cream. Medium body and some bitter coffee in aftertaste. A rather unusually coffee flavored beer.

Bottled. Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, a bunch of coffee and some slight yeastyness. Flavour is bigtime coffee, rather sweet and not all that balanced.

Bottle. A reddish to copper colored beer with a beige head. Coffee, sweetness, some anise and meaty notes. The flavor reminds me of a coffee-cream filled dark chocolate available in Norway, but it’s too sweet, and slightly buttery. Medium body. Sweet finish with coffee and butter notes. A special beer indeed. Not bad, but I don’t think I’ll repeat it either. 100115
