Bottle, Carringtons, Manchester. Poured a deep dark brown with a fading tan head. Roasted malt aroma with dark chocolate. Some spicy hop bitterness mingled effectively with the roasty coffee tinged flavour to give this an intetesting and pleasurable balance. Slipped down very nicely.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Dark brown, small beige head. Syrupy chocolate aroma. Medium sweet with rounded moutfheel. A bit thin and empty with more vegetables, metal and water than chocolate or coffee. Finishes with a slight edge and almost without bitterness.
