Cask (handpump) @ The Brew Company, Sheffield, England. @ [ RBESG 09 ] . Almost completely black. thin creamt beige head. Roasted malt aroma, with some caramel, nuts and a hint of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Roasted malt taste with coffee and vanilla and chocolate. Lasting aftertaste very drinkable.

Cask@Pembury Tavern. Close to pitch black, not much head. Aroma is liquorice, coffee, mildly roasted notes as well as soem nuttyness. Flavour is coffee, mild roasted notes, some dark fruits and overall rather nicely balanced.

Cask (handpump) @ The Brew Company, Sheffield, England. @ [ RBESG 09 ]Clear dark brown brown color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090717]

RBESG Sheffield, day 2. Handpull at the Brew Company. Black colour, beige head. Wonderfull aroma of coffee, cream, dark fruits like raisins, rum. Flavour is good roasted malts, coffee, some raisin, coffee bitter finish with a bit of booze. Very good porter imo.

Cask handpull at the brewery. Good dark beer, some choc, but also some coffee, bit of charcoal. Bit of hazelnut. It’s quite soft in the mouth
