From cask at Quinns. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity. Bitter, mild citrusy and crisp hops fruity. Bitter and dry finish.

Draught, The Pumphouse, Liverpool. Clear golden colour with minimal off white head. Fruity aroma with caramel malt and vague hop. Sweetish flavour with fruity notes and muffled hoppage. Thought this was going to be poor judging by other GK beers and I suppose its slightly better than anticipated. Nothing exciting here though....

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Served from a traditional handpump. Amber in colour with a dense off-white head; dusty, citrus aroma; prickly in the mouth with a thin wheaty flavour; watery, gingery finish. Another GK failure.

Cask (handpump) @ The Tree Cherry, Huddersfield, England.Clear medium orange color with a large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, acidic - sour green apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, light vinegar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
