500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Opalescent, orange, dark golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Floral hoppy and minimally biscuity, pale malty as well as minimally caramel malty aroma, hints of petals, whiffs of grape sugar. Taste is floral and slightly leafy, minimally fruity hoppy, rather neutral, pale malty basis, hints of petals, a touch of peach and tea. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, some subtleties - nice.

22nd June 2018; cask half-pint at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire. Golden pour, white blanket of foam on top. Light hop nose and taste with a good malty backbone for the hops to ride on, giving the beer a slightly sweet flavour.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, malty, yeast, light fruit, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
