Bottle from Kris WInes, London. A hazy dark amber pour with a smallish tan head. Fragrant and fruity nose. Some appeal lurking in the flavour which was nicely busy; fruit, sweet malt and some decent hoppage all jostling with a hint of spice . Drying bitter finish. Enjoyed this quite a lot. Worth a look.

Hazy dark amber with a medium white head. Hoppy aroma with toasted malt and caramel notes. Flavour was quite hoppy and had caramel, toasted malt, grapefruits. Finished bitter.

Bottle, 9%. Good fruity hop aroma, quite refreshing. Almost clear dark amber brown colour. Very small head. The flavour has some grassy hoppiness. Seems quite malty underneath, with a rough bitterness, which is nice enough.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and some fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, caramel, and wood, leading to a dry woody and alcoholic finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy dark amber with a creamy beige head. Perfumy, citrusy aroma - US hops? Solid body, a little caramel, solid maltiness and again citrusy hop accents. Quite a bitter finish. Nice one. 211009

Cream-coloured head over red-brown beer. C-hops, alcohol and wood, peppery nose, even red chili. Peppery returning in the flavour, poivrons, and sweet-toasted malts. Bit sticky MF, medium bodied. Very British interpretation of an USA BW, but with hops turning John Bull again. OOOKS ? Do I detect a fellow Pratchett-fan in Mr. Eddie?

33 cL bottle, courtesy of PhilL. Pours hazy dark orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is solid wooden and grapefruity hops fruity. fruity, light cheesy and dry wooden hops flavoured. Bitter and dry finish. Lasting dry flavoured finish.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, small beige head.. Aroma is hops some grass and yeast along with alcohol. Flavour is caramel malts, some alcohol, yeastyness and quite enough of flowery and grassy notes.

Cask gravity at Ramsgate Rocks, Kent. Toffee barley wine base. Big dry hop aroma of Nelson Sauvin hops. Huge and very attractive aroma. Fullish in mouth, but never syrupy or too full. Hides ABV well. Good finish of more hop sauvin and I think Cascade hop. Had 2 halves on cask. Really good.

Bottle 330ml. @ Weekend of Tarts After TastingUnclear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel - toffee moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090530]
