8.3% Hazy amber beer. Short frothy white head. Soft dry palate. Very odd tasting IPA. Caramel malt. grapefruit bitterness. A lot of herbal bitterness! Wet wood and dry bitter bubblegum. A mess and not for me.

bottle at home ... from the Grove ... thanks to @mybrewerytap ... very golden yellow amber ... loads of floating sediment ... thin white lacing ... soft orange and grassy lager hop nose ... bitter front ... juicy malts ... soft toffee ... soft fruits ... too much lager hop element for me ... but otherwise ok ... some nice soft pine and lime hops

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Cloudy golden pour with a medium white head. Good hoppy nose with malt and fruit notes. Flavour more understated than the US hop bombs, gently sweet with fruit and yeast notes. Decent body. Good stuff on the whole. Would definitely drink again, but seems that’s unlikely.

Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Sweet aroma with hoppy, malty and pine notes. Flavour was quite hoppy with peach, malt, grapefruits and pine. Finished bitter.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy yellow with some floating impurities and a creamy and lacing white head. Fruity, citrusy and somewhat leathery nose. Medium body, astringent fruity accents. Some alcohol in the finish. Solid but not exactly sophisticated. 211009

Bottle, 8.3%. Subtle grassy and plasticky aroma. Cloudy yellow colour, some bits of yeast floating about. Small stable white head. The flavour is sweet and grassy. Has a little paper, but it suits the beer OK, actually.

Bottled. A golden beer with sediment floating around under a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit and yeast as well as some hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, malt, caramel, and some hops, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

[9/5/09] Bottle sample during LCRBM at Kulminator in Antwerp. Murky orange with a white head. Aroma of flowery hops, yeast and some citrus hints. Sweetish flavor with some malt, yeast, fruits, and a bitter hoppy, slightly earthy, finish. Medium-bodied.

LCRBM 2009. Light yellow, modest turbid, small head. Modest hoppy aroma. Starts quite malty, becomes more and more hoppy-moldy, not really fresh. Finish dry-moldy. Not my favourite.
