Bottle. Beautiful deep reddish, almost amber/brown body with a moderate sized off-white head. Aroma is malty with some toffee, toast and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, toast, resin and light pine with rather moderate bitterness. I don’t know the bottle day, but as my bottle has the best before day almost one year ahead I assume that it could not be a bad date even if it feels a bit like old hops to me. Drinkable and food friendly but also bit boring when drinking the whole bottle.

500 ml bottle, batch #100211, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. ABV is 7.0%. Reddish amber to brown colour large to moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, toffee and fruity hops. The flavour is slightly sweet, notes of toffee, toast and dark fruits, distinct piney and fruity hops in the finish. Good beer.

Mahognibrun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter røde bær, kandissukker og noe brent karamell. Middels fylde. Maltig smak, nøtter og karamell. Lett bitterhet i avslutningen.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, sap, grass, yeast, hay, flowers, weeds, butterscotch, fruit stones, ripe banana, old leafs, bubblegum, caramel malts. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, old leafs, bark, sour grass, medicine, sap, yeast, fruit stones, paper, hay, alcohol, harsh hops. Medium to longlasting bitterness, watery and harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!
