Der Greizer Bock ist das einzige Starkbier aus der Vereinsbrauerei Greiz. Auf Grund seines enorm kräftigen Malzgeschmacks und hohem Alkoholgehalt von knapp 7 vol.% ist es ein Saisonbier welches nur in der kalten Jahreshälfte angeboten wird.

Light amber with white head - Malt aroma with hints of caramel - Malt body with some caramel flavours and bitterness to balance - Malt finish - This was nice

50 cl bottle picked up at Systembolaget. Love the label! Clear, amber golden colour with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, herbal hoppy notes, honey, and grasses. The taste is sweet. Medium to full body. Slightly drying fruity finish. To the sweeter side as far as Bocks go, otherwise excellently crafted.

500ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Honey, malt and syrup feature in both the aroma and in the taste. Bland.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, off-white head. Rich, sweet, caramelly body with some perfumy hops. Smooth mouthfeel and a subtle bitterness. Clean and uncomplicated, and severely underrated. 020525

Gyllengul klar vätska med lågt skum. Eldig och potent med värmande alkohol men ganska endimensionell. Ok

Ljust bärnstensfärgad klar vätska med vitt finbubbligt skumlock. Arom av kaka, karamell och torrt hö. Liten kladdig maltighet och höig beska. Eldig munfyllnad där alkoholen bryter igenom.

Pours clear amber with a thick head. Malty aroma with hints of cookie dough and some vomit. Malty taste with hints of honey. But most of all you feel the taste of alcohol. As an extra strong lager it is quite ok, but as a Bock it is quite mediocre.
