Ridiculously hazy peach, copper, light brown, pink and pure guava coloured body with no head at all - this is as creamy and hazy as an 'IPA' could possibly be - quite strong and beautiful, but without some head at all. Aroma of alcohol, light bitter metal, some funky malts and yeast, but the strength of flavours is deep in terms of cherries and especially flowers with the chamomile hitting hard in the nose. Light-bodied; Sharp astringent and super-pungent deep robust bitterness with a lot of flowers, grass and hay notes at first with some light sweetness from the cherries and a dash of the tea/lforal notes coming through from the chamomile blossoms. Aftertaste is super dry, incredibly deep and pervasive in terms of pungency and bitterness with a lot of grain and malt components and more yeast/alcohol flavours than I expected from a 5,5% abv beer with some cherry and fruit-based sweetness towards the end, but not enough to overpower any of the deeper notes. Overall, an interesting beer that doesn't really hit as an IPA in any way - more of a fruit beer or a light biere de garde than an IPA with no real hop notes at all, and way more yeast, dryness, funk and especially fruit-based flavours throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraska on 10-October-2019 for US$5,49 sampled at home in Washington on 12-January-2020, just over a week before my next trip to Omaha.

16 ounce can from ABV. Pours a mostly clear orange color with a small white head. A light funky nose. Sour cherry, light sweet base, really funky like brett, richer cherries as it goes on. Interesting. Sort of odd.
