Cask conditioned at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Deep golden colour, moderate creamy head. Moderate aroma, nothing really stands out. The flavour is quite well balanced between the malts and hops. Moderate fruity notes, hoppy / dusty finish. Okay.

Cask at Tibbie Shiels Inn. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Light carbonation. Great lacing. Aroma of grain, mineral water and pear. Flavour is very like the aroma. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation prickle. Decent, refreshing.

Golden-amber. Has a fairly earthy character on the nose, slightly towards the hop. Juicy and biscuity, with a lot of hop bitterness and a slightly crackery character, finishing quite dry.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 04/05/13. Clear golden amber with a thin white head. Nose is malt, light hops, touch of cramel - a little thin and lacking in aroma. Taste comprises citrus notes, hops, caramel, malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Drinkable but a little boring.

cask - Pours mostly clear gold with a lasting white head that laces heavily. It smells of bready malt and oddly I got a whiff of sulfur. The flavor is sweet bready malt with mild, lingering hops bitterness. It’s a decent, unremarkable brew.
