Can at home in the garden, 4th July 2025. Pours a murky reddish colour. Aroma is caramel and fruits. Taste is too sweet, caramel, fruits, lacks the earthy malts and bitterness with aromatic notes and resin to be a good RIPA

440ml can. Hazy red brown, slightly red tinted beige head. Aroma of toffee, caramel malts, leafy, piney hops. Taste of sweet malts, toffee, caramel, pine, citrus, berries, light-moderate bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice RIPA, just wants a bit more bitterness I think.

Charles Hawtrey's last Carry On was Carry On Abroad. He liked a drink so maybe this very palatable for its strength red ale with a cherry-berry sweetness would agree.
