(Cask at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 23 Nov 2024) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with notes of chocolate, black coffee, pine needles and grapefruit. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with dark chocolate, coffee, citrus, grapefruit, pine needles, mint and a generous citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Hoppy, tasty and well made black IPA. Very nice.

Cask at the Kings Arms - Buckfast Street. Pours black-brown with a tight, creamy tan head. Light-medium sweet flavour, a little funky, some ashy roast, pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Floral finish, more dry roast, funk, earth. Great stuff.
