Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,5 l swing top bottle. BB 15.02.25. Clear dark copper in the glass, small one finger white head. Looks good. Malt and some toasted nuts on the nose. Taste is smooth grainy with some sweetness and caramel in the second row. Grain and nuts in the aftertaste, soft bitterness. Mid carbonated. Not bad.

Flasche im Bierladen in Kreuzberg. Klares dunkles Bernstein. Ungefähr 1 cm breiter kleinporiger leicht beiger Schaum. Aroma: leicht metallisch, Etwas Karamell, etwas Nuss. Malz. Geschmack: mittlere süße. Nuss, etwas Karamell, wenig trockene Früchte, Biskuit.

Ur-Saalfelder, Flasche von Nahkauf, Weimar. - Kupfergoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase leicht süßlich-fruchtig angehauchtes helles Malz mit brotig-karamelligen Zügen, dezente krautige Hintergrundherbe. - Antrunk würzig karamellig-malzsüß, schön gerstig, weinig. Deutliche Süße mit Anklängen an Honig; etwas ausdruckslose krautig-herbale Hopfung. Milder rezent, schwer; leicht mineralisch. Im Abgang räkelt sich die kernige Malzsüße auf aromatischer herbaler Bittere. - Solides Märzen mit individuellem Malzcharakter und deutlicher Süße, die aber gut eingebettet ist. Noch ein gutes Bier aus Saalfeld. (Neubewertung: 2.7.2020.)

Bottled, from Sagasser, Ilmenau. Clear amber, minimal head. Fruity piney nose. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity and caramelly with butter and spice. Resinous bitter finish.

500mml. bottle tasted on the 08/06/2018 at home. Light copper colour with a lasting white head. Aroma is grains, sweet malts, caramel and yeast. Taste is the same, leading to a medium straw bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Next one please!
