Bottle at "Johnny's got a new place" beer celebration. Opaque black color, no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roast, toasted malts, soft wood, booze, vanilla. Quite good. Very pleasant this one. Heavy but good.

Pours pitch black with no head. Aroma: oak barrels, bourbon, raisins, burnt brown sugar and pistacchio. Taste: pastry goddess with a nice oak barrels back.

Thick black with no head. Bourbon, oak, dark chocolate, boozy but not in a bad way, fudge, caramel, roast. A good honest BA impy without the pastry adjunct crap. Warming in the finish. Nice. I’d happily drink this more often if only I could!
