Straw – Golden presentation with good foam retention. Clear and crisp aroma of Sauvignon grape / passionfruit / diesel from the hopping and slight fermentation character to display a classic New Zealand Pilsner style. Quite full-bodied and intentionally bitter to keep it drinkable but also satisfying for the hop-heads!

[33cl can from Beer52 as “Sawmill New Zealand Pilsner”, contract brewed by Fourpure.] A straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; grainy aroma with some berry fruit; crisp fruity taste with a grainy body; and a fresh finish with a light herbal bitterness. An excellent pilsner.
