750 ml Growler filled at Fermenteria about 2 hours ago. Color is a near black / purple hue. Aroma is oak, red grapes, blackberry.

Taste is tart berries, light blackberry notes, mixes berries. The yeast is covered by all the fruit. Finish has a long lasting oak note. Oak lingers. This is nice.

Growler courtesy of jcartmdg. It pours out with a light mahogany body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma has loads of modest notes going on with earthy nuanced various dark roasted malts and snippets of dark roasted coffee and saison yeasty spices. The taste has a smooth yet somewhat un-interesting nearly bland feeling. I get a bit of saison like yeasty spices rolling meekly into a touch of tartness and dark roasted malts.

Dark with a nice head. Aroma was lightly roasted malts, a bit of yeast, and light fruit. Flavor was dominated by the roasty malt. Not stout like, but noticeable roast. Light yeasty notes and just the faintest amount of blueberry. Pretty solid brew.
