Clear dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and hard roasted malt. Flavor is rather sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted bitter finish. Very nice schwarzbier - almost like a stout. 101009

Bottle, 4.5%. Creamy aroma. Very dark brown colour, seems a cloudy. Small light brown head. The flavour starts off creamy, turning malty and dusty. Later it is roasted with coffee and chocolate notes.

Thick light-greige head, disappearing slowly over deep brown beer with red and orange reflections. Chocolate and blueberries, caramel and molasses. Dry, ashy flavour with just a bit of sweet caramel and sugars in the finish. Good balance, whereas the nose promised too much sweetness. More black than sweet chocolate. Light to medium bodied, grist slickness; spritzy MF despite little visual proof. Quite good in its style, despite the nose that nearly appeared ominous. Thanks to fonefan!

Bottled. Dark brown, huge head. Rich aroma of chocolate and fruity peach. Mid-dry with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Mouthfilling flavour of tobacco, chocolate and some salt. Finishes with mild bitterness. Pleasant, drinkable and nicely flavourful.

Dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma has chocolate with some caramel, and possibly a touch of butterscotch. The flavour is quite stout-like and not classic German schwarz. Hard roasted notes of coffee and chocolate, along with a certain fruityness.
