Notes from March 2009 Italy looked good, & I couldn't find a pity beer to drink brewed in Montenegro. End of story. Beer Elevated, poured into my Gouden Carolus chalice. Clear, energetic, & golden. Eggwhite color & consistency from the inch of head that develops. Smell is white bread, minor clove, & that recognizable Euro caramelization, but with a bit of toffee this time. Carbonation is a bit low. I would say creamy if only because of that. Oxidation is showing slightly, but I can work around it(no BO/BB date). Flavor is a minor outline of caramel & danky, aged hops. A touch nutty. A faint metallic notion comes through as it warms. The finish lingers with it initially, but soon draws out clean. No problem with drinking this one fresh.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours gold with a frothy white head. Aroma quite bready. Med body. Flavor is bready with not a great deal of hop - but there is some - seems herby. It has also got a grape note towards the finish. Much more drinkable than most pale lagers.

Pours pale gold with a small head.Nose shows faint sweet malt and corn. Pretty boring, not much going on at all.Flavours are pretty much the same, no bitterness whatsoever. At least there’s no really bold off-flavours.Very watery body.

Bottle. Pours light copper with a mild white head. Grainy malt aroma with corn and sugar. Flavor is sweet, a bit syrupy and not very bitter. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes unpleasantly sweet. I don’t mind Pale Lagers but this one really isn’t that good.

33cl bottle @ OdenseBoldklub. Pours a clear yellow with a small white foam. Grain, corn and mais. Sweet & dusty old malts. Watery. Seems cheap and uncharming!

Blond color, nice perlage. Light malt aroma. Ordinary Lager, but well balanced. Simple, but here at 2200 m.a.s.l., with only trees water and goats around, every beer tastes better.
