Guess I forgot to hit enter... From May 30/31 tasting... Poured from 750mL bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Coffee, chocolate, quite nice.

750ml (thx, Brent!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: sweet coffee, roasted malts, a bit of black chocolate. Taste: thick, a lot of coffee, a bit of chocolate notes. Overall: good one.

Dark brown body, dark brown head. Super rich coffee, dark chocolate. This is super rich on the palate, extra coffee, and massive dark chocolate. A bit nutty, but honestly I love how rich this is. Burnt, complex, high quality.

750mL bottled 12/20/2020, drunk 5/26/23. Dark, medium-sized tan head shows moderate retention. Nose is a wonderful mix of deep prune, ash/tobacco, moderate, fruity coffee and mild roastiness. Some light black malt definitely keeps it seeming strong and stiff, but it's not boozey nor over-roasted. Excellent fudge, caramel, maple and vanilla notes lighten the overall picture enough to balance. In the mouth it's silky, smooth, almost creamy in its texture with a sumptuous maltiness that is also well-attenuated. Rich malts add caramel and fudge with the dark notes yielding prune, tobacco and intense espresso. Great fruitiness. Strong, unsurprisingly, but I love the attenuation and there's no alcohol noted.

5 oz. pour on tap at Side Project Brewery. It's an opaque black with finger-width beige-light brown head with poor retention and trace lacing with nice viscosity. Aroma is strong roasted coffee and malts, chocolate. Taste is strong sweet and bitter roasted coffee and chocolate (chocolate covered espresso bean) and roasted malts. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, really strong aroma and flavor with great mouthfeel.

Taster showing dark brown and sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of coffee and bell pepper. The palate is moderately carbonated and medium bodied. Bell pepper on the first impression but matures into dark chocolate and espresso with light lactose sweetness. The finish shows a light espresso bitterness.
Shitload coffee, roasted and toasted malts, not that sweet, omg what a coffee..thanks Robert
Balanced chilled coffee, more chocolate vibes
