Backlog May 2009. Bottle as Spirit of hemp. Golden body under a small white head. Mild aroma of corn, grain, grass and slightly herbal. Taste is quite mild, light malt, grass, a herbal touch, slightly fruity and moderate bitterness. Thin body with short aftertaste. Not much going on here.

clear yellow/orange, sooth white head. aroma is herbal, hemp , faint sweetness, flavor is sweet malty, hemp, faint sort of grassy. palate is a little watery, yet quite smooth.

Bottle. It pours a clear, a bit pale golden body under a small, white head. Weak nose with grains and a herbal touch. Some hops too. Grainy flavor with some herbal notes and a little bitterness. Medium body with decent carbonation. Overall, it’s too weak on both aroma and flavor, thus really boring. Even though it seems the hemp gives a herbal touch, I think it’s mostly a marketing gimmick. Bottle 33cl. @ [ Fastelavns Tasting Ulfborg ]. [ As Schloss Eggenberg Spirit of Hemp ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, spicy - peppery, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090221]

Bottle, 4.9%. Weak caramelly aroma, a little sourness, perhaps some breadiness. Clear yellow colour. Very small white head. Mild caramelly flavour. A little sweet and sour from the hops, it seems. Papery finish.
