First time trying such a young vintage of this classic. Deep sweet malty with layers of sweet caramel and molasses, yeast, brown sugar, touch of cocoa, a plethora of dried fruit shred, smooth mouthfeel, lingering spiced sweet malty finish. ??

Sensory Session #43: Old against young. [Right] bbf 14.8.23. Nose starts restrained, thick off-white head. Red berries, caramel, Biskuit, herbal-malty, nice hops and a good carbonation

330ml bottle, 2023 on the cap so should be a 2020 bottle.
Very dark brown pour, beige head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, dried fruits. Taste is the same, rich and malty, toffee and caramel, dried fruits, brown sugar, alcohol very strong but well integrated. Fair bit more carbonation than expected compared to my first rating. Still an outstanding beer but I did prefer the older bottle I'd had previously.

LCI, we stray closer and closer to being able to buy legit monk juice anytime any day, wish I could drink one of these every week, thanks Clay M.
