Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Earthy fruity aroma with mealy musty notes. Dry-sweet minty earthy taste with roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry licorice and earth aftertaste with rye crisp bread notes. Vivid, fresh, interesting. (0.3l draft, Cafe Langebro, Copenhagen.)

On tap at Sct Clemens. A light brown beer topped by a diminishing, finger-thick beige head. Lightly roasted on the nose.with nuts, some hints of prunes and chocolate. Very soft on the palate, dryish and medium-bodied. Nuts, caramel and roasted malts in the flavour, some bitterness towards the end. Not the most exiting beer I’ve had, but it tastes nice and drinks easy. 120820

On tap at the brewpub. Nice looks, with a clear, copper body and a dense, medium sized beige head. Quite fruity nose, with a pleasant roasty touch. The flavor has a roasted start, then the fruityness comes, and there’s also a decent bitterness. Medium to full body with a pleasant level of co2. The experience starts quite nice, but it turns out to be a quite ordinary beer. Quaffable though. (071006)
