Cask at the Colmore, Birmingham showing as 'Dark Mild'. However it was more in red ale territory in appearance and taste. Very clean filtered taste with slight berry tang to it. It was ok.

Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Colmore. Ruby-black body, stable beige head, spotty lacing. Subdued aromas of slightly roasted malts, hints of dark fruits. Plain dark malty flavours, distant notes of dark fruit. Short-lived dark malty end. Easy going. (Birmingham 13.02.2023).

Cask @ Polished Knob, Todmorden. Dark with a small red glow and a thick creamy off-white head. Some nut in the aroma and a very drinkable and suitably mild texture.
