From cask at the 26th East Anglian Beer & Cider festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours mid to dark brown with almost no head. Aroma of nut, chocolate, biscuit, light roasting and sweet malt. Sweet, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is sweet.

Cask, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Deep dark brown colour with a small tan head. The nose had notes of roasted malt and dark chocolate. Flavour had more roasted character with notes of oatmeal, dark fruits and bready malts. Dried out towards the finish. Maybe a little thin, but drinkable.
