[Cask at Chippenham BF] Dark brown with a light fizz. Chocolate, espresso & smoke. Some ginger in the finish. Didn’t do it for me - a little on the thin and dry side. c8

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 25/9/07. Near balck with a decent, foamy white head. Aroma of cofee and milk chocolate. Flavour had some sweet caramel to start before some bitterness and a hint of sourness to finish. Very enjoyable.

Cask gravity at Kingston BF 2007. Black, dark brown edges. Thin beige head. Smooth porter, with choc bitterness rounded by some decent fruit. It’s alright. Too much roasted malt. Fine, drinkable, good flavours.
