From old notes: Cask @ Booze on the Ouse fest, St. Ives, 2000. Black color. Aroma's: big roasted malt with light herbs and sweetness. Flavor was rather bitter. Short finish, only mildly bitter. Nice porter.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough, 16/08/17. Creamy chocolate aroma, with a sour edge. Dark and glossy. Frothy beige head. Sweet with an underlying bitterness. Chocolate and fruit. Medium bodied. On the thin side. Flat carbonation. Slightly astringent element to the finish. Any enjoyable porter.

30th June 2015: cask hand-pulled half pint in The Rocklands Club, Redditch. Black with a creamy textured off-white head. The aroma came across as fruity with a coffee and chocolate overtone. The taste was semi-sweet, losing the fruitiness from the nose but keeping the malts molasses nicely. Mild dry finish to a fairly smooth Porter: decent.
