Made solely with American Cascade hops with the finest crushed pale malt. An exciting beer, proving to be a winner. Light in color. Labeled as Uncle Sams Bitter in the UK, as Calamity Ale when exported to the US (for legal reasons).

500ml bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Straw with a loose white head; spicy citrus aroma; soapy mouthfeel, depply bitter and citrus flavours; and a slightly spicy finish. Very drinkable.

A light golden coloured ale, WIth hints of both lemon and grapefuite in its flavour.

500ml bottle from Cask and Glass, Tonbridge. Hazy gold with disappearing white head. Nice citric hop aroma. Bit odd in mouth. Like the other Cropton beer I had in bottle the flavours are a bit all over the place. Cascades just donโ€™t seem integrated to the malt. Too overpowering on the hop. Bitter lemon finish. Not too good

An orange beer with a nice light orange head. The aroma is light - what is there is grassy hoppy, while the flavor is slightly acidic from the hops, and with a dry end. The notes in the aroma promises much more than the flavor gives.
